We are a Social Enterprise and passionately believe Creativity can:

  • help people build self-esteem

make in metal 2019

we are launching this exciting project for 2019. Working with Aberdeenshire Council’s Community Learning & Development team in banff, we are opening our doors on a Tuesday evening to local Young People aged 16-25 who want to gain some experience working in our studio and learn some new skills in a friendly warm environment.


Make In Metal 2019 is about learning new skills with other like-minded people.

Classes start on the 5th February 2019, 6.30-9.30pm, in four 4-week blocks covering Basic Techniques In Silversmithing, Basic Techniques in Jewellery Making, Introduction to Silver Casting and finally an Introduction to Wax Carving.

Thanks to funding from Aberdeenshire Council’s Opportunities for Young People Grants 2018-19…

This opportunity is focussed on the Banff Academy School Network, and applicants from this area will be given priority.

* Please note: Only one 4week block per person can be booked to allow as many Young People as possible to participate.

Meet Your Maker - historic environment Scotland

Throughout 2018 & 2019 we will be working with Historic Environment Scotland, Craft Scotland and Banff Academy on this exciting project based around Duff House in Banff. Students from the Academy are working with nationally and internationally renowned artists, to develop skills and creative work inspired by the local gem that is Duff House.
