In this four-hour Taster Session, you make not one, not two, but THREE pairs of silver earrings! From basic materials and completely from scratch, you will make a pair of textured studs, forged drop earrings and hammered hoops.

CAN I DO THIS CLASS?

This class is for complete beginners. A reasonable level of hand-eye coordination and dexterity is all that is needed.

WHAT HAPPENS?

You will learn the basics of jewellery making while making your very own earrings. This includes sawing, annealing, forging, soldering, texturing, roll printing and cleaning.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?

You don’t need to bring anything with you but please wear long hair tied up, no open-toed shoes and no loose-fitting clothing. We provide all tools and materials. Bring an apron if you want to protect your clothes.

Due to Covid-19, students will need to wear a face-covering (unless exempt) and you will be emailed clear instructions ahead of the class.

Please feel free to bring your own refreshments. A bottle of water or a cold drink is a good idea.
